For the record, I really don't know what I'm doing on this thing, but one of my best friends in the universe thinks I'm a rat whisperer and that should share my experiences with y'all.
1-14-15 Well, today I made my page, I suppose. Still don't really understand how to use this site but i'm trying. For the last almost 20 years, I've had pet rats. They really are like tiny little dogs; intelligent, playful, charismatic, loving, and if you want to laugh on a daily basis just get one! I've helped a lot of people get over their fear of the creatures, and some of them even adopted their own little ones. I even got someone feeding barn rats (yeah not good but still kind hearted.) Right now I've got 5 rats all in their own cages, the youngest Roddie is only about 30 days old. From time to time I rescue them if I have an open cage - I'd rather put the work into them than see a hawk pick them up or worse. I guess I'm the crazy rat lady, I don't really train my rats to do 'tricks' but I give them a loving home where they know they'll be well taken care of and loved
